A viewer's written impression — not a buyer review or first-hand record
This golden group is arranged on three stepped tiers, multiple figures front to back. At the centre stands a many-armed bodhisattva: small faces are stacked in tiers above the head, blue hair crosses the forehead, the principal hands are joined at the chest and another pair cradles a round jewel in the lap, while many arms radiate from both sides of the body, each holding an implement, and behind them a whole circular halo is studded with raised small head-points until it is almost a golden disc. The figure is gold throughout, with only a thread of deep blue across the shoulders and vermilion turning back at the ribbons and hems, standing on a lotus pedestal over a multi-tiered gold-colored altar. In the back row, two tall standing figures share the circular halo — one many-armed with implements, one holding a scroll; in the middle row sit three figures — a Buddha on a lotus, a crowned figure on a backed throne, and a bearded deity with a tablet; in front are a small triad, a small figure riding a boar, and a small seated figure. Rising tier by tier with clear hierarchy, the set is made for stepped display — a principal scene of gold at first glance in a shrine or gallery.

Select by position in the image; each figure can be enquired about separately. Numbers identify the intended work.
The edge of the nimbus (on the right) appears cropped in the on-site photograph; please verify the complete piece before placing an order.
The left rear standing figure has simple gestures in front of the body. The radiation in the circular halo is densely spread out. Long red ribbons hang down along both sides, and the lotus pedestal supports the slender figure. I like the direction in which one hand extends downward, and the round wheel is spread out behind him, while the body remains slender, allowing a clear viewing route in the dense background.

With palms pressed together in front, the figure is encircled by outstretched arms and a dense array of concentric rings. My gaze begins at the joined hands at the center, then follows the arms as they reach outward—the circular outer boundary pulls these various directions back together, as if a lively, swirling motion were revolving around a core of profound stillness.

My attention is drawn first to the headdress and the raised arms, while the gestures in front appear more concentrated. A red ribbon trails downward, connecting the expansive, circular nimbus to the slender, elongated body.

A colorful, pointed-leaf aureole recedes into the background, while a multi-tiered lotus pedestal elevates the figure. I am drawn to the posture—the way the figure’s form gathers near the knees—and the intricate, dense patterns of the colorful backdrop and lotus petals; the relatively pale face serves as a quiet, open space where the gaze can come to rest.

The hem of the red robe spreads out around the figure’s crossed legs, and a circular halo frames the head from behind. My eyes are drawn first to the raised hand and the slender object held in front of the body; the expansive red backdrop on either side creates an open, spacious composition, making the figure’s gesture easier to discern.

I like the way the long beard hangs down on both sides of the vertical object. The crown is very dense, but the hands are tightly gathered in the center, giving the entire high seated statue a clear center of gravity.

The long robes drape down along the pedestal, which rests upon a clear, stable, square-shaped base. I first notice the upward-curving contours of the headdress, followed by the positioning of the hands near the knees. The smaller figures on either side lend stability to the central figure without obscuring the elegant lines of its robes.

The thin straps behind the shoulders are rolled back outwards. The hands are close to the upper body. The figure is slender and clear. I like the arc created by the ribbon behind the shoulders. The small figure stands tall and slender, and the round seat under its feet holds it up. It still has its own lightness next to the central seated figure.

The hem of the garment rests upon a narrow, small lotus pedestal. I find myself drawn to the subtle gaps between the intricate details of the hands and the cascading ribbons; though the figure is slender, it does not dissolve into the background—a detail that makes this side well worth lingering over.
Price: Upon inquiry · Customizable · Dimensions to be verified. The crowned figure is mounted on the back of a dark-colored beast, with hands positioned near the chest and the red robe spreading out to the sides. The beast’s body extends horizontally across a low pedestal. I am drawn to the interplay between the horizontal form of the beast and the upright, seated figure above; the dark lower section makes the brightly colored figure stand out more clearly, adding a touch of visual interest to the composition.
Price: Upon inquiry · Customizable · Dimensions to be verified.Small seated figure, right side of the front row: a long beard falls across the chest, and the crown ornaments—along with vertical lines hanging on either side—frame the face. An upright object held in the hands serves as the focal point of the composition. I am drawn to the alignment of the crown, the long beard, and the vertical object; the compact seated posture is tightly contained, while the wide, spreading hem of the robe provides a stable, grounded base.

I will first look at how the slender body stands on the circular mouth of the vessel. The curved lines beside the shoulders correspond to the arc below. The scale is small, but it seems to hide a complete small scene.
