A viewer's written impression — not a buyer review or first-hand record
This golden bodhisattva with a flame-edged aureole is the right-hand figure of a set of three. He wears a tall gem-set crown, his face warm and composed, his eyes lowered, seated in full lotus on a throne of golden lotus tiers. His right hand holds a slender staff upright; his left rests on his knee, cradling a sapphire-blue scroll across it. His robe is the most colourful of the set — vermilion red, sapphire blue and teal, embroidered all over with floral roundels, beaded ornaments falling from chest to knees, layered sashes and gilt edging catching the light at every fold. Behind him, the aureole follows the set’s shared design: golden flames gathering from the rim into a point, dragons coiling through rolling clouds within, dense and splendid. Beneath the throne, an octagonal pedestal steps inward, guarded by beast-heads at its corners. Set at the side of the group, it loses none of its brilliance — completing the set when enshrined with its companions, and a gilded spectacle on its own in a hall.
