A viewer's written impression — not a buyer review or first-hand record
This polychrome bodhisattva stands barefoot on a double golden lotus pedestal, a tall pointed-arch aureole rising behind her. Her crown mixes gold and blue, gathering into a flame finial at the top; her eyes are lowered in a soft smile, and a beaded necklace rests on her chest. Her right hand delicately pinches a small golden object at her breast, while the left hangs at her side, loosely holding a short handle. The outer robe is teal-green patterned all over with fine flowers, an orange-yellow mantle over the shoulders, red-orange lining within, and a purple skirt sprinkled with blossoms, one foot peeping at the pedestal's edge. The aureole's outer band flames orange-red toward the point; inside, a blue border studded with gold beads frames green scrollwork that lifts paired golden lotus ornaments, and behind her head a halo ringed in green radiates red and yellow. Two tiers of full petals carry her, the waist gilt and inlaid. Brightly coloured yet easy in posture, she may stand in a row with her companion figures for worship, or alone as a vivid accent in a space.
