A viewer's written impression — not a buyer review or first-hand record
This polychrome demon-quelling guardian in a bright orange robe is all driving force. An orange-gold cap with flaring wings crowns a fierce face — thick brows, glaring eyes, a black beard curled in tight coils. One hand thrusts a long golden sword diagonally upward, while the other reaches down with open palm, a small brown bat perched beside it. The orange-red robe is dense with multicoloured dragons among clouds, a golden dragon coiled across the round belly, sashes hanging loose and hems rolling with cloud patterns. One knee is raised, its black boot with gold work planted on a small demon prostrate at the base, gold pieces and a weapon scattered beside it; on the other side stands a pottery jar with a red paper label. The base is a grey-black rock ringed with red-orange flames. Made to be enshrined as a protector of the home, or set in a corner of a room, carrying a hearty, exuberant boldness of its own.
