A viewer's written impression — not a buyer review or first-hand record
This polychrome seated figure wears a crown. The crown rises in five golden leaves, each relief-carved with small figures and patterns; beneath it the hair is deep blue, the face a clear pale tone with lowered, smiling eyes, and beaded ornaments fall in tiers across the chest. His long robe is an orange-gold brocade woven with floral roundels, its drapery spreading into broad blossoms over the knees. One hand, raised beside his shoulder, steadies a golden ritual implement whose shaft curves in a slow arc and whose head carries a small treasure vase; the other hand stands upright at his side of the chest. Beneath him are a great gold-and-green lotus throne and a gilt octagonal stand. Golden orange from crown to hem, sumptuous yet orderly — a principal figure for a shrine, or a bright centre when placed among a set of polychrome seated images.
