A viewer's written impression — not a buyer review or first-hand record
This small seated Buddha is a translucent amber-gold throughout. His hair rises in snail curls over a high ushnisha; with eyes lowered, he sits in full lotus on a double lotus pedestal. The right hand rests down by the knee, a string of prayer beads trailing from the fingers, while the left hand is raised, its palm holding a lotus in bloom — petals white against the golden body. The robe falls from the shoulders in layered folds that spread along the crossed legs to the seat, over two tiers of round, full lotus petals. The hand does not lift high, yet it breaks the symmetry of the pose and gives this figure one luminous focus. It belongs on a desk, a tea table or in a small shrine niche, for daily devotion and quiet display — the closer you look, the more translucent and serene it becomes.
