A viewer's written impression — not a buyer review or first-hand record
This polychrome standing bodhisattva in a pale blue-green robe holds a leafy branch and a vase. The right hand is raised, holding a curving branch with green leaves; the left hand supports a small green vase at the waist. The robe is patterned with fine sprigs and small medallions over a warm yellow skirt, and long ribbons drift from the sleeves. Behind the head, a round halo sits within a red-and-gold flame aureole. The bare feet stand on an orange lotus pedestal above a black-and-gold octagonal base set with red and yellow petals. The colouring is fresh and clear, and the branch and vase carry a feeling of moisture and life — a figure for enshrining, or for bringing a clean, moist calm to a tea room or study.
