A viewer's written impression — not a buyer review or first-hand record
This polychrome standing bodhisattva is framed by a circular halo coiled from golden branches. A gold-yellow hood covers her head, a small shrine set into its front; her eyes are lowered in a soft smile, her hands folded inside her sleeves at her waist, her bearing one of quiet ease. Her great robe is orange-red lined with stone green, falling straight from the shoulders in clean folds, only a golden necklace showing at her breast. Behind her, the halo is a ring of curling golden boughs whose tips dissolve into flames and clouds of white and blue-grey, rolling outward and upward, settling the orange figure into stillness. Beneath her, blue cloud-waves pile and curl, a small round orange pot tucked at the clouds' edge. Bright yet dignified, she suits a shrine, or the principal position in a light, spacious room, bringing her own warmth and glow.
