A viewer's written impression — not a buyer review or first-hand record
This polychrome wrathful deity blazes in deep blue, standing on one foot over red clouds and rock with the other leg lifted, caught mid-dance. The eyes glare and fangs bare beneath a crown of flame-red hair, while many arms reach out in every direction holding a flame-shaped tablet, a long golden horn, a chained lock and a staff, gilded dragons coiling between them. Behind rises a red flame aureole from which a golden dragon's head descends, and set within the halo is the calm profile of a brown bodhisattva — stillness against fury. An orange tiger-patterned skirt completes the clash of colours. Fierce and forceful, it suits a guardian's place in a shrine, or the boldest corner of a collection.
