A viewer's written impression — not a buyer review or first-hand record
This polychrome deity stands in full ceremonial dignity, a dragon's head on a human body. Between two horns sits a golden crown; the round eyes glare, small fangs show, and whiskers and mane curl thickly about the neck. The robe is pale celadon beneath wide peach-coloured sleeves, with gilded dragons rearing in relief across the chest, sleeves and skirt, and a striped multicoloured hem below. Both hands are folded at the chest around a tall white court tablet carved with flame and mountain motifs. Instead of a lotus, the feet rest within a ring of curling blue-and-white waves. Bold in colour and bright with gold, it suits a shrine by the water, or any space that needs one commanding presence.
